With tens of thousands of people in Metro Lansing who cannot afford regular oral health care, dental issues become extreme and often require a patient to visit local emergency departments, where medical staff can only prescribe pain medicine and antibiotics, not treat the root of the problem.
Care Free Medical’s dental clinic aims to prevent these expensive ED visits by offering low-cost preventive hygiene care and monthly extraction clinics through a compassionate group of volunteer dentists along with one part-time paid dentist. While we can schedule hygiene visits in just a few weeks, more extensive dental care can take longer.

Payment & Insurances
Our clinic is funded through private donations, grants, and modest fee-for-service reimbursement for office visits. Care Free Medical helps patients navigate the health care system to enroll in health benefits they may be eligible for from the state and federal government. Care Free Medical accepts patients without insurance.
