We believe every individual deserves quality, compassionate healthcare. Because of this belief, CareFree provides free, health and dental care for people in our community without health insurance or the ability to pay. We provide care to each patient individually no matter their age, race, culture or spiritual background. Who Can Come to CareFree? We accept patients who have no access to insurance or quality medical care and who live primarily in Ingham County. We will accept patients from Jackson, Eaton and Barry counties only when referred to us through the county health plan. We also accept Ingham Health Plan, Medicaid , including McLaren, Physicians Health Plan, Health Plan of Michigan and straight Medicaid. We accept Medicare at our Lansing office only.
